I messed up on cutting my squares - some are too small. . . others are . . . I am finally starting on my baby-to-be's crib quilt I decided on an "easy" project using FQs Basically, you take 7 FQs and cut them into 8 5" squares Then you save the scraps and another FQ for binding Well, I used a rotary cutter, ruler, and mat to cut the squares I still ended up with uneven squares - some are a little smaller than 8 5 inches on certain sides It says to use a 1 4" seam

Will be dropping by Hobby Lobby Joann's Hancocks for some material for the 4 patches from Jenny's tut on Four Patch Frenzy and the Nine Patch Fence Rail Blissful, quick and pretty patterns both! Its Wednesday, Nov 9th - The Quilting Forum - Missouri Stars Quilt . . . I bought some frosty branches at Hobby Lobby then stopped at a thrift store on my way home and they had some similar for $1, I may be returning the HL ones and going back to the thrift store for more, I plan on using them on my mantel soon, since we are not hosting Thanksgiving for a change it might be real soon
